I was so excited to speak with Gabriela, especially as - while our styles dont match perfectly - her use of colours and mixed mediums are really intersting to me. In addition to some practical suggestions on how to develop specific pieces of my own, she was also kind enough to follow up with an email full of resources on where to learn more about complimentary techniques.
